HI, I'M BENITA.
Born and raised in Trier, Germany, Benita emigrated to the US spring of 2002. She has lived all over the US; including OR, CT, OK, MO, and now calls North Atlanta, GA her home with her 4 children and German Shepherd dog. (Yes, totally cliché. She knows.)

While she started out shooting primarily weddings, she has since retired from the wedding industry (only taking on a few select intimate and micro weddings) and specialized in fine art portraiture; specifically headshots and branding photography.
She is a very active person, who is deeply rooted in her faith in Jesus Christ. Her favorite thing to do would be to simply hang out with her loved ones, play games and be outside in the sunshine. She does not enjoy cold weather and prefers hot, even humid climate over freezing temperatures.
Every time she travels back to Germany, the first thing she has to eat is a Döner. With Schaafskäse and lots of sauce. She is #13 of 14 children. (Yes, before you ask, all from the same set of parents.) Her favorite flowers are gardenias, peonies, camellias, and heavily scented garden roses. She prefers wildflowers over any store bought bouquet. She also really likes dark chocolate. Reading, exercising, and drinking water (or Sprudel) are three of her essential daily tasks.
Benita strongly believes in continued education and personal self-development. She is currently enrolled at BYU-Idaho to complete her Bachelors degree in Business and has successfully completed several professional certificates. When it comes to photography and her skills, she is a complete autodidact and dedicated an immense time to develop her skill sets and talent.
She has a strong entrepreneurial spirit, building a successful international photography business and decided to branch out and add one more business working as a Certified Holisitc Life Coach in the fall of 2023.
